Allu Arjun’s lawyer applied for the actor’s interim bail
Allu Arjun’s lawyer, Ashok Reddy had applied for the bail. Despite orders from the court, the actor was not released on December 13, 2024. According to a Times of India report, the lawyer claimed that the actor was kept in the prison as a ‘special category prisoner’. He also slammed the jail authorities for not complying with the court’s orders. He told the media present outside the jail about the situation. Ashok Reddy said:
“You should question the government and the department why they have not released the accused. The High Court order is very specific. Forthwith, the moment you (prison authorities) receive the order, (they should) release him. Despite the clear order, They have not released, they have to answer. This is an illegal detention.
