
Vietnam’s textile and garment exports (excluding yarn) rose by 12.3 per cent year-on-year to $18.668 billion in the first half of 2025, driven by strong US demand.
Yarn exports declined in value but increased in volume.
Imports of cotton, yarn, and fabric also grew, indicating robust industry activity.
VITAS has raised its 2025 export target for textiles, garments, and yarn to $47–48 billion.
