The LYCRA Company and Qore will debut at the Global Fashion Summit 2025 in Copenhagen, with CEOs Gary Smith and Jon Veldhouse discussing their new bio-derived LYCRA fibre made with QIRA.
Launching later this year, the fibre uses corn-based BDO, offers 70 per cent renewable content, and can cut LYCRA’s carbon footprint by up to 44 per cent, requiring no fabric or process changes.
