
Container volume in Vietnam’s seaports rose by 13 per cent YoY in April and May, with volumes at Cai Mep-Thi Vai, Lach Huyen and Ho Chi Minh City ports up by 22 per cent, 32 per cent and 8 per cent YoY respectively, Vietcombank Securities said.
Over 10 million TEUs were handled in the first four months—a 6 per cent rise YoY.
Port operators saw strong earnings as cargo volumes rose, it estimates.
