BASF has sold its Styrodur XPS insulation business, including the brand, to Karl Bachl Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG, with the deal closing on June 30, 2025.
BACHL, a key distributor and long-time partner, will integrate the brand into its portfolio.
BASF will now focus on expanding its EPS brands, Neopor and Styropor, boosting Neopor capacity by 50,000 tons by 2027.
