
Germany will gradually raise its hourly minimum wage to €14.60 (~$17.11) by 2027 from €12.82, as per proposals from a government-appointed commission.
The figure is lower than what the ruling coalition had initially agreed to.
It will first rise to €13.90 when 2026 starts.
By 2027, full-time workers on minimum wage will typically earn around €2,500 a month.
