Gevo will sell its Agri-Energy subsidiary, including an ethanol plant in Luverne, MN, to AE. Innovation for $7 million.
Gevo retains some land and assets for isobutanol production.
AE plans to restart ethanol output and create an innovation hub.
The deal, expected to close by end-2025, offers Gevo $2 million upfront, $5 million later, and ~$3 million in annual savings.
