Japan was being ‘tough’ in trade talks and the EU had not yet offered a ‘fair deal’, President Donald Trump has said after attending the G7 Summit in Canada.
“Of course, it’s complex, but we are advancing,” EU Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen said.
“We have yet to reach a deal as a package because we remain apart over certain aspects,” Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba said after talks with Trump.
