Export and import operations at Bangladesh’s Hili land port and Chittagong seaport resumed on June 30 after a two-day strike by customs officials and employees ended.
The strike was the result of a complete shutdown declared by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Sanskar Oikya Parishad that had led to a suspension of all port activities and a halt to the entry of Indian cargo trucks.
