Vietnam’s new regional minimum wage policy will be effective from July 1, when the two-tier local administration system comes into effect.
Monthly minimum wage now will be VND 4.96 million (~$194.5) in region 1, VND 4.41 million (~$172.9) in region 2, VND 3.86 million (~$151.3) in region 3 and VND 3.45 million (~$135.30) in region 4.
The hourly minimum wage will be between VND 16,600 and VND 23,800.
