Jurassic World: Rebirth, distributed in India by Warner Bros. Discovery, is set to hold its first-ever Hindi premiere at Jaipur’s iconic Raj Mandir Cinema on July 3.
This marks a notable moment in the intersection of Hollywood and Indian cinema. In 1994, Jurassic Park became the first Hollywood film to be dubbed in Hindi and released theatrically in India — a landmark that broadened access to global cinema for Hindi-speaking audiences. [Disney’s Aladdin (1994) was the first ever Hollywood film to be dubbed in Hindi in India and aired on national television]. Thirty-one years later, the franchise returns in Hindi, reinforcing its deep cultural connect.
The Raj Mandir Cinema, known for its architectural grandeur and long-standing association with moviegoing culture in India, will host the event. Over 1,000 guests — including fans, members of the press, and leading digital creators — are expected to attend. The experience will feature themed installations and photo zones designed to transport attendees into the Jurassic era.
The evening will be hosted by digital personality Nagma Mirajkar, with appearances by Ashish Chanchlani and other notable influencers and celebrities.
The event will also recognise Ashim Samanta, the original Hindi dubbing director of Jurassic Park, who returns to helm the Hindi version of Jurassic World: Rebirth after more than three decades. His involvement adds a layer of continuity and familiarity for long-time fans.
“This isn’t just a premiere,” said Denzil Dias, VP and Managing Director, India, Warner Bros. Pictures. “It’s a nod to the historic journey of Hollywood films in India. Premiering Jurassic World: Rebirth in Hindi at Raj Mandir is our way of honouring that legacy and acknowledging the loyalty of our Hindi-speaking audience.”
Jurassic World: Rebirth premieres July 3 at Raj Mandir Cinema, where a classic chapter finds new life. The film is set to be released in theatres worldwide on 4 July.
