Continua Kids has reported a 90 per cent overall improvement rate among children enrolled in its therapy programmes. The data is based on a six-month internal study conducted across 11 of its centres in the Delhi NCR region. The study covered 107 children aged between two and ten years.
The children were enrolled in structured therapy interventions that included Speech Therapy (ST), Occupational Therapy (OT), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and Special Education (SE). These therapies targeted 38 developmental parameters such as responsiveness to name, fine motor skills like writing and buttoning, tip-toe walking, self-talk, abstract thinking, and daily living skills including bathing and brushing.
According to the study, children between the ages of two to five years showed a 92 per cent improvement, while those in the five to ten-year age group showed an 86 per cent improvement. Children newly enrolled in the programme recorded an 83 per cent success rate, whereas returning children demonstrated a 90 per cent progress rate. This marks a 2 per cent increase over findings from January 2025, when the overall success rate was 88 per cent.
The study findings underscore the significance of early intervention. Younger children were more responsive to therapy for issues such as fine motor skills and social awareness. Older children also showed measurable gains but required further support for challenges involving abstract thinking and social rule-following.
Commenting on the findings, Dr Himani Narula Khanna, Developmental Behavioural Paediatrician and Adolescent Mental Health Expert, and Co-Founder of Continua Kids, said, “Every milestone achieved at Continua Kids is a testament to the power of early intervention and individualised care. We are proud to celebrate Autism Awareness Month 2025 by showcasing real progress and renewed hope for children and families across India.”
Dr Puja Kapoor, Paediatric Neurologist, Director, and Co-Founder of Continua Kids, added, “With ongoing research and integration of technology into therapeutic practices, we are not just improving developmental outcomes, but also empowering families to engage actively in their child’s growth process.”
