The Female Pelvic Pain Association (FEPPA) has announced its Second Annual Conference, scheduled to take place on April 19-20, 2025, in Mumbai, India. Organised by FEPPA – Orphan Disease Foundation, an educational initiative by SWATI Spentose, the conference will bring together experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals to discuss developments in female pelvic pain management.
Pelvic pain is a condition affecting millions of women worldwide, often presenting diagnostic and treatment challenges. The conference aims to enhance clinical practices, bridge knowledge gaps, and encourage interdisciplinary collaborations. With an expected attendance of over 150 delegates, the event will provide a platform for education and discussion.
The conference will feature national and international faculty presenting research and treatment approaches. Live sessions will demonstrate treatment techniques, and interactive workshops will cover the role of biofeedback, yoga, and acupuncture in managing female pelvic pain. Panel discussions and case studies will include perspectives from specialists in gynaecology, pain medicine, physiotherapy, psychology, and allied fields.
FEPPA is inviting organisations to support the initiative through educational grants and sponsorships. “This is an opportunity for stakeholders to engage with healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing pelvic pain management,” the organising team stated. Details on sponsorship opportunities are available upon request.
The conference is designed for gynaecologists, obstetricians, pain management specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists, researchers, healthcare policymakers, medical students, and residents.
FEPPA emphasised the importance of collaboration in improving patient outcomes and raising awareness in female pelvic pain care. “By attending, participants will be part of a dedicated community striving to make a meaningful impact in this field,” the organisers noted.
