

Sahajanand Medical Technologies (SMT), a cardiovascular device company, has announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors: Harvinder Singh as Independent Director and Priyanka Cohen as Director.
Harvinder Pal Singh currently serves as Executive Vice President and President, International, at Integra Life Sciences Corporation. He brings several years of leadership experience from roles at Integra and Abbott Laboratories. At Abbott, he held various global leadership positions across commercial functions. SMT stated that his understanding of international Medtech markets and commercial innovation is expected to support the company’s global growth strategy.
Priyanka Dhirajlal Cohen, a trial attorney by profession and one of the company’s promoters, joins the board with experience in law, governance and public service. She has previously worked at the U.S. Department of Justice and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. SMT noted that her legal background and alignment with the company’s long-term objectives would contribute to the Board’s governance and decision-making processes.
